Carla grew up in a fourth generation farming and logistics family in Oaklands, NSW. In January 2012 Carla started at Emerald Grain and has worked in Customer Service, Domestics Logistics and Export Execution. During this time, she has developed a deep understanding of the complete supply chain. Carla has recently relocated to Perth from Melbourne and is keen to expand her knowledge of the WA grains industry.

Prior to joining Emerald, Anna completed a Bachelor of Business and spent years working for both ANZ and the Victorian Farmers Federation.
Anna is passionate about agriculture and comes from a fourth generation farming family in Northern Victoria.

Camila was born and raised in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, she than moved to Australia in 2007. Before starting with Emerald Grain in 2013 Camila has worked as an Event Coordinator for 6 years and completed a couple degrees in Economics and International Business at La Trobe and RMIT University. Camila has recently moved into the role in the Grower Service team, expanding her knowledge on the business. She is continuing to learn on the job and has been picking up the training and task very quickly.

Helen started with Emerald Grain as Logistics Co-ordinator in May 2016.  Helen has been involved in agriculture for numerous years, with roles including Logistics Manager for a national hay trading company, partner in a sheep, goat & cattle enterprise in Western NSW, partner in a mixed farming enterprise in the Riverina and logistical roles in both livestock and refrigeration companies.

Patrick grew up on a family farm at Mitiamo in Northern Victoria before moving to Parkes in NSW. His careers in Banking and the Federal Police followed before returning top Regional NSW for farming and a career in wool brokerage and exports.
After building the business for 15 years, Patrick became Queensland Cotton’s National Wool Manager based in Wagga Wagga. After a Period as a private consultant Patrick is excited to have the opportunity to trade a different commodity and form relationships with grain growers in the Emerald Network.

Chayce joined Emerald in 2015 as a grain merchant after a stint hosting the Rural Focus program across the Radiowest Network in WA.  He has a long affiliation with agriculture having grown up on a farm in Dowerin initially and then working on farms in the Eastern Wheatbelt as well as support businesses. Having always had a soft spot for the grain industry he is well placed to help growers make the most of their marketing opportunities. He loves the networking side to agriculture and looks forward to being involved in the grain industry into the future.

Doug Grew up on a dryland farm North West of Moree before moving to Toowoomba for High School and then on to Brisbane for University. In between stints on the farm Doug has worked in the banking sector and also for a cotton trading company.

With Doug’s strong connections in Northern New South Wales he is looking forward to building on established relationships in the Gwydir/Namoi regions as well as well as building relationships with new clients.

I was born and raised on the central darling downs before growing up in Toowoomba. After a brief stint in Brisbane and overseas I went back to the land and started contract ground spraying around the Dalby and Cecil Plains districts for an aerial spraying company. I was in this role for around five years and saw a massive expansion in that business during that time. Following this role, I began working as an agricultural machinery salesperson in Dalby. This role coincided with me commencing my studies in Agricultural and Resource Economics at UNE. I am very pleased to have joined the Emerald North team and look forward to meeting you all in the future.

Ben joined Emerald Grain in 2013 as a Grain Merchant based in our Perth office. He has a strong farming background in Western Australia farming at Southern Cross on his family’s mixed-farming property until 2011. Here he was involved in marketing his own grain and running a Poll Merino Stud with his family. Since then Ben has experienced a vast array of working environments. His eagerness to learn, strong customer service focus and ability to relate to WA Growers will put him in good stead for his role in the Kwinana Zone.

Nicola started with Emerald Grain in 2013 after completing an Agribusiness degree at Curtin University as one of the final intake of students at the Muresk campus. She spent the final semester of her studies on a study abroad programme at Purdue University which is a highly regarded agricultural school in Indiana, USA. Having grown up in regional Western Australia, Nicola has a strong interest in the grains sector and is pleased to be pursuing a career in the industry. Based in our Perth office, Nicola is focusing on the WA domestic market and is excited to expand her network of farmers, colleagues and friends and become more involved in the regional community.

Andrew joined the Emerald Grain team in late October 2011 following two years of working as a grains and sugar analyst for the Czarnikow Group based in London. During his time abroad he gained valuable exposure to both the international sugar and grains markets where he was involved in a number of different projects to better trade the relationship between the two commodities.

Katie joined the Emerald Grain Team in August 2010 as a full time Grains Administrator; she then moved in to Corporate Administrator and then moved into a role with the logistics team assisting with the administration side of logistics. After logistics Katie moved into the role of administration manger over seeing administration side of the business for South East Australia. Katie is now the Grower Service Team Lead, overseeing grower task and communications working closely with Anna and Camila. Based in our Richmond office she has completed Business Certificate 3 & 4 and completed her diploma in Business Management, all as work based traineeships.

Brad Cullen grew up on the family farm at Manangatang before attending Dookie College in 1997. After University, Brad worked for the AWB in grower services before heading overseas and accepting a risk management role with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in London. After 12 months overseas he returned to AWB to a role with a grain marketing focus for two years and then moved to the Landmark side of the business as a Rural Finance Manager for 3 years in Horsham. He then returned to the farm at Manangatang for 2.5 years, whilst also running a grain brokerage business for local farmers. Brad brings to Emerald a genuine love of the Mallee tempered with the professional know-how needed to look after your agribusiness.

Glenn grew up in Echuca before going to Dookie to gain a Bachelor of applied science Ag graduating in 2004. He has since completed post graduate rural science studies at UNE. He has worked in the stockfeed industry and established an ag consulting company based in Echuca working with dairies and feedlots throughout northern Victoria and southern NSW. Glenn and his wife run an irrigated mixed farming operation at Echuca West growing summer crops/irrigated winter crops and livestock. Glenn joined the Emerald team in late 2012 and brings a strong knowledge of farm economics and production systems. He always puts his clients’ interests first and looks forward to helping you with your grain marketing.

Dick was born and raised on a wheat and sheep farm in the Mullewa area, he left the area in 1991 and since then has had various roles in the agricultural industry. Dick has worked closely with many clients and his previous roles in Agchem and fertiliser hold him in good stead for his current role. Dick joined Emerald Grain in 2009 as a Grain Merchant and in 2013 accepted the position of General Manager WA

Prior to moving back to the Toowoomba area, Rebecca was employed as a stock controller at Cotton Grower Services Emerald where she maintained the movement of chemical and seed to growers in the Central Highlands area.
